Shoes and powerlines

I have just started a new series of paintings which are of Halifax and area. The one i'm working on now is a lovely pair of shoes dangling from a power line. I can see a pair out my window right now. They are everywhere. It is very grey today. And windy- the shoes are dancing in the wind.
